Taiwan already has newspapers. What it has less of, in English, is a short Friday letter that assumes you have an address here: an ARC or the intention of one, a neighborhood, a clinic, a weekend. We report enough of the island to keep you oriented, and enough of daily life that you do not have to learn it all from a group chat at midnight.

The voice is English. The calendar is Taiwanese. The ambition is modest: be useful by Friday.
